I have been involved with Granby Village Health for over 14 years now- ever since my mom opened the store!
Healthy living has been important to me since I was a teenager.  After I graduated from high school, I moved to Florida for college, and graduated with a degree in midwifery. A huge part of my training was devoted to nutrition. After 2 kids and 7 years, I decided it was finally time to move back to Connecticut. The store is like a second home to me and my family. My kids like nothing more than to come in and get a smoothie at the juice bar.
I love to cook and bake and I have a passion for all things related to pregnancy, birth, and parenting. So, if you ever have questions about morning sickness or millet flour, look for me!

I found a taste for eating organic about five years ago when I started working at Wild Oats in Salt Lake City, Utah.  It has been a part of my life ever since.  I believe in what I do and love it.  In Salt Lake I started to get into outdoor sports;  eating healthy when you are active is important.  It's not just a job, it is a lifestyle. I am now in school to be a Nutritionist.

When I am not at work I am either practicing yoga, teaching yoga, demo-ing health food lines, hanging with my husband and our dogs, or going for a walk.
I love being in Maine by the ocean with my husband & friends.

I love to hike, kayak, and garden. My breath is so often taken away by the sheer beauty of the sky.

Cassie Grindle
I am Lori's youngest daughter. I have been a vegetarian since I was sixteen and health and nutrition are a huge factor of my life so working here is very rewarding.  My favorite things to do are to just be outside, especially if I am working with a horse or my dog (or you may also see me driving around town in an old muddy truck).  I am also a volunteer fire fighter and have a separate job working on a horse farm and I am also a college student.  I hope you enjoy the store!

I like working at Granby Village Health because I really like the people interaction! After having my own business for many years I realize that being with people is very important to me.  The atmosphere is full of positive energy and upbeat.  I am trying to learn something new every day and am working on becoming a healthier person so it is a great place to be!!!

Keith                                                                                                                                                      I am the newest of our staff here at Granby Village Health and I am currently still in the learning process. I am a senior at Granby Memorial High School and I am actively involved in the Environmental Club run out of the school. Throughout my years in high school, protecting the environment has become more and more a part of my lifestyle. I hope to go to college and major in Environmental Engineering so that I can continue helping the environment throughout my life after school. I love to hike, camp, kayak, etc and spend a lot of my time outdoors.

Claire                                                                                                                                               After being a customer of Granby Village Health for many years, once my son was ready for school this was the first place I thought about applying for a job, and I got lucky!  I really enjoy learning something new every day, both from my co-workers and our customers.  We have a great community here, that extends beyond the walls of the store, which I find important.  I also love the fact that we "walk the walk", by recycling and using green practices and products.  My goal is always to seek and maintain balance in life, through listening, creating, and sharing.
